There has been a catastrophe, an organisation has absolute power and the players want to change this. These are the constants. But what does this mean? Here are five examples.

The Garden
The war had been short. Finished just after it started. Victors? There were none. Only losers.
Only few parts of Earth are hatiable now. Thankfully, there is The Garden: A small area, guarded by the Brotherhood of the Bushes, green, full of life. More and more people voyage there, and few come back. But is it really as beautiful as everyone retells? Or is there a different reason why nobody ever returns? |

The Enlighteners
When the alien spaceships reached Earth, all hell broke loose. It took almost half a year until humanity understood, that the Enlighteners did not come as conquerers, but as relievers.
With their help technology took a huge leap. And they helped to reform society. But not everyone is content with the new structures. And there are rumors about a completely different second phase of the invasion. |
The walking dead
Only few humans are left. Small settlements, scattered, without communication, food or hope. When the dead began walking and eating the living, a lot changed.
But the military is still strong. It controls many settlements, more and more joining their rigid structures. Security demands sacrifices. And the number of those rises, who don't want to sacrifice that much anymore. |
